Tilly and the feather

Hilarious Tilly! I am not sure whether she has realised she has a feather stuck on her mouth. She looks at me very dignified and poised , wondering why on earth I am giggling away and yes, taking yet again more photos of her,...by now she thinks I am a very annoying paparazzi!

Stepping down...

I do like this photo, it has that paparazzi-slightly out of focus style, Tilly is stepping down from the chair, she knows she should not be there, sitting on my crochet, making biscuits and drooling over the mohair crochet. She is avoiding any eye contact, and I am smiling behind the camera, all is well.

Sitting pretty and caught red handed...

...Tilly is striking a diginified pose, hoping that I am not going to scold her for sitting on my crochet project, she is so poised!

As cool as only a cat can be!

If only I could be this cool myself, but then again you all know how stressful it can be when it comes to relocating! I am back and hopefully in a few days time we will escape to glorious Derbyshire! I apologise for not been able to post for a while, watch this space, more photos coming your way soon, as ever many thanks for stopping by, a big hello to new and old friends!

Aunt Livia and Uncle Antonio

My beautiful and full of character ancestors, on my Mum's side. Aunt Livia is so elegant and Uncle Antonio is so serious. I was told that when he used to go to the cinema, (still with no sound in those days), during the fights scenes dear Uncle Antonio used to say out loud "Toc!", a kind of spontaneous sound effect to punctuate and underline the exchange of blows. What is remembered and told about the past generations within one's family is often bizarre and beautifully funny!

Let me introduce you to Tilly

She is always on the lookout for anything edible, she is a small scale tiger, a true hunter. I think she is the reincarnation of a rubgy player: when she sees someone walking, she starts running and in her own way "tackles", by crashing into the person's legs! Once she did "tackle" me while I was crouching to take a photo, needless to say that she crushed onto my "derriere"! She is such a character!

Let me introduce you to Garfield

one of the lucky residents at Pat's farm. Garfield is so funny, inquisitive and enjoys being around people, he is such a softy!
