Cascade of pearls

Another experimental shot of necklaces at Accessorize, I love the ethereal and almost "dream-like" sense I get from looking at them.

Blurred hearts

More blurred bling from Accessorize, I love the intricate hearts!

Bling and feathers at Accessorize

While I was browsing at Accessorize I thought it would be fun to take some snapshots of these necklaces and bracelets, but from an unusual angle,...it all seems to me like a surreal cascade of pearls and pendants.

Variation on a theme...

...that is "hydrangea". I find funny the street lamp coming out of the leaves, to me it looks like a tiny bud at the end of the stem.

The acid green jumper

Yesterday afternoon I finished knitting the acid green jumper, with a lot of help from Mom: I am still quite hopeless at casting off stitches and knitting sleeves! I love this colour and the texture of this pattern.

Pearls, beads and butterflies at Accessorize

Yesterday at Accessorize

While I was browsing at Accessorize yesterday afternoon, I saw these great scarves and I could not help it: I took out my mobile phone and I took a snapshot, I felt like Mata Hari on a dangerous mission!
I love the patterns and texture of these scarves! When I got back home I started knitting a multi coloured jumper!

The silver screen diva

I remember I bought some old fashioned photos of 1920s and 1930s actresses at a vintage fair while I was an undergraduate. I don't know how famous this actress was in her days. I would have liked to know how this photo got to the vintage fair: I find so fascinating how such a simple photo documenting and remembering someone's life "travels" through time.

Photo booth memories

Mom Giulia and I in a photo booth somewhere in Genoa, I am sure I have more of this kind of photos somewhere...
