The great escape...

...in a few days time we'll leave for a long Summer vacation; to my regular and occasional readers I wish a Summer full of fun, laughter, sun and joy!

"When...

"When I am no more, I will be free, a free spirit, I will join the swallows in the sky and play with them, I won't look anylonger at the sky and envy the birds free to fly far away from everything and everyone.
I will get rid of the heavy coat that is life. I will fly through the clouds, and further away, right where the stars are.
I will forget the sorrow, the regrets, the pain and the mistakes. I will not remember, I will simply be, light and free.
At night I will wonder through the Louvre and sometimes at the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles.
I will take residence at the most beautiful Georgian house, move from room to room and feel the peaceful stillness.
In Spring I will visit the wood fairies, in Summer I will float through American prairies, enjoy the sun, and observe the farmers picking fruits in the orchards. In Autumn I will walk through the Norwegian woods and in Winter I will stay by the fireplace and look at the beautiful snow falling.
I wish a flock of swallows would come and take me away now."
