I was on one of my secret missions yesterday, one of my "therapeutic" and mood enhancing trips to the most elegant and chic shopping venues downtown. I simply had to take out my cell phone and take a few snapshots, well, more than a few... This shot is slightly blurred, but I don't mind, in my view the image has almost a ghostly "je ne sais quoi" about it, chic and mysterious.

My Mum's dream...

I want to tell you about the dream that my Mum Giulia dreamt a few nights ago, and I quote her: "We are together in a big meadow, there were other people nearby. The sky was blue, it was a lovely day,...suddenly a beautiful big white eagle appeared, dived and took you away. She took you gently, at some stage she seemed she was loosing hold of you, but she managed to hold you and took you higher in the sky. Then I saw that you were floating with ease underneath the beautiful white eagle..." I asked Mum if she was in any way alarmed or worried during the dream, and after she woke up. She said that she was not at all worried, she was in awe of what she saw and she said the white eagle was a true vision of beauty.

What an awesome dream!

My take on cupcakes...

...that I will bring tomorrow to the Craft Rally event in Sheffield; we were asked to bake a cake for the tea break, alas I am a disaster on legs, especially when it comes to cooking and baking, and I had to start all over again! My plan B was to bake some cupcakes, they look pretty yummy and I have managed not to burn them, LOL!

I guess I need a new baking tray, this one looks pretty yuk!

Our dear friend Pat makes the most amazing jams, this Damson is utterly delicious, no added sugar, just fruit from her lovely orchards, and some pectin, I think,...yummy!!! A jar doesn't last very long, sigh!

I could not help taking a photo of the shopwindow of the sweets shop on the high street in Ashbourne; inside a group of youngsters were taking photos of each other. I hope that they framed in their digital viewfinders the shelves of the colourful candies!
