Petals on acid green

This is one of my latest digital experimentations inspired by one of my photographs taken in the back garden. I think I will put this image in repeat for a printed textile, it should look pretty amazing.

Blurred Pink I

This is one of the photos I took a few days ago; I was feeling restless, beautiful white clouds were heading north west. I had a small bunch of fresh flowers on my desk, I took out from the jar a few and took some shots of these delicate pink flowers against the background of the blue sky. I wanted to get a blurred effect, this is probably the most ethereal shot. I added some digital manipulation to obtain a painterly effect.

I took this photo in my studio, it was an early sunny afternoon, despite this the flash went off, what a sensitive little digital camera I have,...still, I do love the end result, it makes the overall composition brighter in a spooky way!

A sudden gust helped me to get this blurred effect. I stood there more firmly and made sure to take another shot, in focus this time, but I still prefer this image, it is more spontaneous and mysterious.

About to bloom

I was walking into town, it was raining and my umbrella was falling apart, then I saw these beautiful leaves and buds, and I had to stop to take the photograph. Afterwards I felt so happy and free as I haven't been for a long while!
