This afternoon in the back yard...

This is one of the 80 something shots I took in a few minutes with my compact digital, talking about a paparazzi in a frenzy...the flowers didn't mind though; being the North of England my mode was set on "Carpe Diem", tomorrow it may not be this sunny!

Ethereal Leave I

I love finding photos that I put away in some photo boxes ages ago and then I see them again, it is like meeting up with good old friends after a long time, such a lovely warm feeling. I realise that photos and taking photographs are a necessity, almost a compulsion, to state my being present somewhere at some time, taking photographs is my memory and my physicality, like a compass.
